Award-winning author Anne Polli was born and raised in Northern California and spent over thirty years in and around the horse industry.  After studying Animal Science at UC Davis, she bred Thoroughbred horses for the show ring.  She also spent much of that time traveling the western US as part of the show staff at hunter/jumper shows, a job that inspired her first novels; the Silver Shores Series.

She is excited about her recent collaboration with her daughter, Ryan, on a series of children’s books promoting love, courage, and acceptance of one’s self and others.

Anne lives in rural Northern California with her husband, a rescued Fox Red Labrador and a tough-as-nails cat.  She is thankful for her family’s continued support and encouragement.
